Who are the people listed on this site?
They are SGI-USA members who are willing to respond to telephone calls or email messages, and inform callers about local discussion meeting times dates and places or other local SGI-USA activities.
Tell me about the information in this list.
The City, State, and Zip-Code refer to the location of the meeting place.
The name and phone / email are for the contact person.
Does the contact person have to be a district leader?
Does the contact person have to be the person who lives at the meeting place?
No to both. Any member willing to receive
the calls is fine.
Is it OK for the contact phone to be a cell phone?
Yes.
Which discussion meetings are eligible to be on this list?
Any that meet in the United States.
How do I add an entry for my group or district discussion meeting?
Instructions for adding an entry are
Here
If there is more than one person who wants to be a contact person
for my group or district, can I submit more than one name?
Yes. An alternate contact person will make it more likely that
a caller will be able to make a connection to your group or
district. Just be sure that any name submitted is with the
person's permission.
If my group or district meets in more than one place, can I submit
entries for each location?
Yes.
The Internet is a very public place. What if no-one in my
district wants to have their name on this list?
That's OK. There are often Chapter or Area leaders
willing to be contact persons for one or more districts. If you
ask around, you will probably find someone happy to be the contact
person for your district.
